Musicology Tourbook

Prince performed 90 shows as part the hugely successful Musicology Tour. It was the last time he toured the U.S. and set records for the year. It was timed with the release of his Musicology CD which was also distributed at the show. This tourbook was sold at the venue as well as online. It is filled with great photos from Afshin Shahidi and included many memorable moments from early 2004 including Prince’s induction in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, tv appearances, award shows, and quotes from the press at the time. I did all the layout and design, including all of the photo retouching. I spent a lot of time working with Prince on the cover shot in particular and it is what I consider to be my best photo retouching work.

UPDATE: Sony/Legacy is partnering with the Prince Estate to reissue this classic tourbook, using all of my original artwork and bundled with products I created during the same era.
