The Musicology CD was released in 2004 through Sony. The CD package was started by Jeremy Gavin and finished by me. I created many of the layouts, finding images to work with the lyrics, and did most of the photo retouching. The overall theme of the CD book was to resemble a kind of Musicology text book. I worked with the Sony production staff to get the CD manufactured as well as creating the promo version of the CD that was given out all 90 concert dates of Prince’s Musicology Tour.
UPDATE: Sony/Legacy is partnering with the Prince Estate to reissue this classic Prince album, using all of my original artwork and bundled with products I created during the same era.
