While we were in Las Vegas for Prince’s performances at The Rio, he had an idea of putting out a 3121 magazine. For starters we created 3 issues of a 3121 Newsletter that we distributed exclusively at the 3121 Las Vegas nightclub. Each issue featured interviews with band members and friends of Prince, plus photos and general info about the concerts in Vegas. We used 3121.com at the time to create an online version of each issue. The final printed newsletter was a simple 11×17 spread folded in half with one page inside, creating 8 pages when folded. The covers (outside spread) was always one image covering the full 11×17 page.
